The Simulation Football League has released the full Season 17 schedule, with games slated to kick off Saturday July 24. The same 24 teams are slated to return – the first time the league will not add any teams or have any teams fold or relocate for the first time since Winter 2019, when the league retained the same 21 teams. The divisions – Pacific, South, West, Atlantic, North, East – also remain intact.

Opening Weekend includes two rebuilding playoff staples – Jacksonville @ Florida; old faces swapping places when Queen City visits Fort Worth; two great defensive minds clash when Florida visits Arizona and Bryant Dynasty meets Johnny Pichler and his new squad when Atlanta meets London in the United Kingdom, among many other intriguing matchups.

Convention Weekend will have two games streamed to YouTube Friday before the 2021 Hall-of-Fame class is inducted, six live games Friday from the South Shore Harbour Resort’s Amphitheater and then four more games streamed to YouTube on Sunday. Included in the live convention package is Arizona @ Queen City (9 am CT); London @ Fort Worth (11 am CT); Jacksonville @ Atlanta (2 pm CT); Las Vegas @ Mexico City (4 pm CT); Lone Star @ Carolina (7 pm CT) and Louisiana @ Vancouver (9 pm CT).

“We’re poised for another great season,” said Commissioner Cameron Irvine. “This schedule features more new opponents, more unique matchups than ever before. Season 16 was a great success, from a scheduling and competitive perspective. I look forward to another tremendous season and seeing where all the chips fall this go-around, how teams improve and how they adapt to new opponents and old rivalries.”

The regular season will wrap up Sunday October 10, with playoffs starting Saturday October 16. The 17th SFL Championship Game will be played the weekend of November 6-7.
