The Simulation Football League, in partnership with Next Level Sports and For the Fans, will present the 16th SFL Championship Game as a live simulcast on both platforms, Sunday May 9 at 2:30 pm ET. The two-and-a-half hour broadcast will consist of pregame, halftime and postgame reports from SFL Studios and the Championship Game hosted by the highest remaining seed. Four different teams in the last four seasons have hosted the Championship: Alaska (Season 12), Denver (Season 13), Atlanta (Season 14) and Sioux Falls (Season 15) – the home team is 3-1 in those games.

This is the first Championship Game that will be played on Mother’s Day and the league would like to honor mothers by having community members send in photos of them with their mom for a special halftime segment. Video shoutouts to mom’s will be played after commercial breaks during the game. If you’d like to send in a photo, please provide your mother’s first name for graphic identifier. If you’d like to send in a video, please introduce yourself by your player name and position and the team you play for before your shoutout and encourage your mothers to watch the game for a special surprise! All photos and video download links should be sent to Commissioner Cameron Irvine via Discord direct message.

The SFL Studio Pregame, Halftime and Postgame Shows will be hosted by Tim Hackett, reigning ‘Rich Pratchard Broadcaster of the Year’ recipient. Hackett called the SFLm’s inaugural Championship and three SFL Playoff games in the last two seasons. Eric Vinson and Cade Stephens will serve as analysts on the panel. Vinson will be participating in his first Championship Game, while his analyst partner Stephens returns to the booth after serving as the in-game analyst in Season 14.

Unfortunately Mike St. Green had a scheduling conflict and will not be able to provide analysis from the studio as he has much of the season. Cameron Irvine (play-by-play), Steven Mullenax (analysis) and Tyler Falk (sideline reporter) will be calling the game. Hackett will also be in SFL Studios for the semifinals.

Irvine will be calling his 16th consecutive Championship Game. Mullenax makes his return to Championship commentary for the first time since Season 11, when Irvine and Mullenax called Alaska’s victory over Tallahassee to complete the Storm’s undefeated season. Mullenax also called Season 10’s title game. Falk called the 2nd SFLm Championship Game and will be the first true sideline reporter for a Championship Game in league history. He’ll have access to players and coaches to get their thoughts before, during and after the game.

The game on Next Level Sports can be viewed on a variety of linear platforms including DirectTV channel 623, AT&T Uverse channel 1665, Verizon Fios channel 597, Sudden Link channel 455 and FuboTV. For the Fans can be viewed on Roku Channel 228, Xumo Channel 711, Samsung TV Plus Channel 1167 and on Twitch with live chat at http://twitch.tv/ftfnext.
