Fenech threw 33 Passes from 41 Attempts for 352 Yards, 3 Touchdowns and 0 Interceptions. Another huge win for the Glory as they head into the playoffs! Congratulations Mr. Fenech!

Our Runner Up for Week 12 is Las Vegas Tailback, Scott Johnson, who put in a huge effort in his side’s 31-27 loss to the 11-1 Denver Nightwings. Johnson had 20 Carries for 146 Yards and 3 Touchdowns, averaging 7.3 Yards Per Carry. A confidence boosting performance from Johnson and the Fury heading into the playoffs! Great work Mr. Johnson!

Honorable Mention: Stephen Hacker, WR, Ft. Worth

The Honorable Mention goes out to Fort Worth Toros Receiver, Stephen Hacker, who, in the Toros’ 44-42 loss to the Lone Star Glory, hauled in 8 Receptions for 209 Yards and 2 Touchdowns. Another huge performance from the star wideout! Well done Mr. Hacker!

Defensive Player Of The Week: Ryan Yoseph, SS, Los Angeles

“Big Time Players make Big Time Plays in Big Time Games!”

This may as well have been written as a description of Ryan Yoseph in Week 12’s matchup between the L.A. Lycans and the Vancouver Legion. With his team facing off against one of the Offensive juggernauts of the league, Yoseph did his best to slow down Tom Pepper and Co. by picking off not 1, not 2, but 3 errant throws along with deflecting an additional 2 Passes to keep his team in the game as best he could. Now that the Lycans are heading to the playoffs, Yoseph will definitely be one of the Strong Safeties to keep an eye on as he’s proved this season that he can take over a game with his ability to get in between the WR and the ball. Congratulations Mr. Yoseph!

Runner Up: Jeffrey Daggs, FS, Mexico City

Sometimes, all it takes is 1 play to turn a game around, and it seems that Jeffrey Daggs knows a little something about that and he showed everyone that was watching this past weekend as he took a crucial E.T. King pass back to the house to aid his team in scoring 28 pts in the 4th quarter to send the game to overtime, where they were able to withstand Houston’s Offensive push and capitalize on the ensuing possession, winning the game and securing their playoff spot! Daggs had 6 Tackles to go along with his INT, and as he laces up against the Arizona Scorpions for the Wild Card Round it’ll be another great opportunity to show what he and the rest of his secondary are capable of. Great job Mr. Daggs!

Honorable Mention: Mark Melo, DE, Arizona

In a massively one-sided game, Arizona crushed Sioux Falls to secure their spot in the playoffs and were able to really get in and disrupt the passing attack of the Sparrows thanks to their 2 Star DEs Mark Melo and D.D. Sachs. Why not have both here?  Well, mostly because with the 3.5 recorded sacks in the game for Melo, he moved into a tie for 1st in the league for total sacks! In a list comprised mostly of DTs, Melo and Sachs are the 2 DEs representing for their position in the sack race and Melo proved just how much of a threat he is to opposing QBs again this past weekend. I’m sure MXC QB, Matt Wilson, will be looking for him prior to every snap of their Wild Card Matchup, and if he’s not – expect those sack numbers to increase. Way to get it done Mr. Melo!

Special Teams

Special Teams Player of the Week: Ethan Sneed, K, Florida

Our Special Teams Player Of The Week for Week 12 is Florida Storm Kicker Ethan Sneed, who proved the difference in the Storm’s 25-13 win over the Jacksonville Kings. Sneed kicked 6 Field Goals from 6 Attempts, with his longest Kick sailing for 48 Yards. Congratulations Mr. Sneed!

Runner Up: Cade Stephens, WR/KR, Ft. Worth

Our Runner Up for Week 12 is Fort Worth Toros Receiver and Kick Returner, Cade Stephens, who had a huge impact on Special Teams with 9 Returns and a 93 Yard return TD. Great job Mr. Stephens!

Honorable Mention: Shark Tarkington, K, Baltimore

Our Honorable Mention for Week 12 goes out to Baltimore Vultures Kicker, Shark Tarkington, who kicked 3 for 3 with a longest of 40 in Baltimore’s 30-27 win over the DC Dragons. Nice work Mr. Tarkington!

Congrats to all of our awardees!
