SFL Communications

September 14, 2020

  • Effective this week, availability to speak with me will go to a hybrid format. I will provide some 1-on-1 appointment times each week but I will also be providing some time in voice channels with the community at large, if you don’t feel comfortable approaching me in a 1-on-1 meeting, whatever those reasons might be. It only benefits me to hear your perspectives as members of the SFL. You do not have to build a bridge to me, I am standing right next to you. Come say hi and let me know what is on your mind.
  • I will be starting a new podcast, called ‘Commissioner Unplugged’ where I take some time to acknowledge the many and very often quiet in the community who do amazing things – in and outside of the league every single day. Some names you may not have heard before. Plus, a little about me outside the SFL. It’s live stream will debut Wednesday at noon simulcast on YouTube and Twitch and will be available to watch back on demand. I can’t promise a weekly series, but hope to make this a consistent part of SFL content you can appreciate and look forward to.
  • Friday October 9 starts the minor league and the SFL will grow to 24 teams in 2021. We’re working diligently on improvements league-wide to all facets of our operation. With more people comes new opportunity, but also new challenges. Providing the most opportunity we can each and every season to meet demands is always the goal.
  • Be on the look out for the updated playoff positioning. It will be released Tuesday morning.
