The curtains close on another great show for SFL teams as they are week 7 comes to an end. There were a lot of hard-fought battles this week. Teams and individuals are starting to separate themselves from the pack and show who true playoff and possible championship contenders could be. Winning games feels like heaven so lets celebrate our picks for Week 7!

Offensive Player of the week goes to Quarterback, Mr. Christian Christensen for the Jacksonville Kings. This was a great and hard-fought battle as the Kings took on the reigning champs The Atlanta Swarm at the Hive Stadium and won on the road 40-30. Christian did his part as he had 36 completions out of 46 attempts, 372 yards passing, no interceptions, and his longest pass was 77 yards. His QBR is 101.55 and his completion percentage is 87 percent. This vet should why he deserves this award with this outstanding performance. Congratulations Christian!

Runner up for Offensive Player of the week is Mr. Scott Johnson, Halfback of the Las Vegas Fury. He had the most improved performance as he had 25 carries for 209 yards, 3 Touch Downs, 8.3 Yards per carry and his longest carry was for 66 yards. After 6 weeks of struggle, the moment of shining finally came. Congrats Scott!

The defensive Player of the Week is none other than MR. Nate Hezlep, Corner-back of the Tulsa Desperadoes. This real-life firefighter help to extinguish the Queen City Corsairs offense as they won 38-16. Hezlep made an impact on the game with his 7 tackles, 1 tackle for loss for 44 yards total. He also had 2 interceptions that sealed the deal for the Tulsa win. He rides off into the sunset with a great performance against a 4-time champion. Congratulations Nate!

Runner up Defensive Player of the game is Mr. Luther Gond, Defensive tackle of the Louisiana Revolution. In the Revolution’s stunning win over Vancouver, Gond simply terrified the QB with 6 tackles and game change sacks. With that many sacks, he could be on his way to DPOTY! Congrats Luther!

Special Teams Player of the Week is once again WR Gaberial Manning, who took it to the house tie a couple of return TDs again.

Runner up for Special teams Player of the week is Kicker Mr. Kramer Jackman for the Denver Nightwings! Known for having one of the best legs in the league, he showed that he should be a shoe in for the Hall Of Fame someday. In Denver’s win over Carolina 23-10 he put up some much need points as he had 4 field goals made out of 4 attempts and his longest kick was 52 yards. He has now over 10O completed field goals madeĀ  out of 100 attempt which is a fantastic mild stone to achieve. Congratulation Jack!
