  • Wow, what a whirlwind of a Week 1! 11 games on national television and there were some great ones! Rookie quarterback Bryant Dynasty delivered a game-winning touchdown throw, Houston won their home opener in the final minutes despite losing their starting running back in the first quarter, Jacksonville held on by two points in another back-and-forth game with Vancouver, Tulsa got a game-sealing pick and won by seven, Queen City held on to beat the Storm by a touchdown, Carolina got an upset road win at Charleston by three and so many other amazing storylines unfolded. Thanks to everyone who watched one or all of the games this weekend – your support means the world to me and this community.
  • Our live camera roll out was suspended after opening night after Dynasty changed our lives with his energy and hair flips. Don’t worry, it’s just to take steps to make it an outstanding feature for the rest of the season and for many more players to participate successfully.
  • Crowdplay returned – but we need more players! Your next chance to win a share of a $1K prize pool comes Saturday at 5 p.m. ET, the second game of an Eleven Sports/For the Fans Saturday afternoon doubleheader!
  • I will be making an appearance on Ashley Jackson’s podcast this week with a handful of fellow broadcasters talking about what it’s like to broadcast games in the SFL, why the Chicago Bears suck and many other topics I’m sure! (see ya there Ashley!)
  • I have meeting openings Tuesday-Friday this week due to my unavailability from Monday. Please schedule an appointment with me if you need me, if you just want to chat about the SFL or if you just want to build a rapport with the boss man!
