The Simulation Football League has announced staff promotions and adjustments for the Winter 2020 season. Notably, Andrew Rastelli has been promoted to Deputy Commissioner (effective April 2020), Ryan Karpinski has been promoted to Director of Player Personnel, Stephen Hacker has been hired as Director of Gameday Operations and Marcus Agrippa has been hired as a producer and assistant to Irvine on broadcasts. Also, Chris Curtis has been named Assistant Director of Broadcasting.

“We have the best staff in the business and are looking forward to delivering a phenomenal Winter 2020 season,” said Commissioner Cameron Irvine. “Our dedication to providing the highest quality product is unmatched and with our unprecedented 95 games to air on television from January-April, we’re ready to make a major impression on sports fans everywhere. Without these individuals, this league would not be what it is today.”

Hacker’s role will be to oversee team communication departments as they relate to social media, statistics and milestone/franchise record book-keeping. Irvine will be the primary contact for highlight submissions. He’ll report to the proper league departments as necessary and help teams manage the new responsibilities required by the league. Agrippa’s role will be to work with broadcast teams and Irvine to provide storyline-specific content to the visual presentation of SFL on FTF broadcasts during the regular season, enhancing each and every television broadcast during the year.

Opening night of the Winter 2020 season begins Friday January 17 at 6 pm ET with a SFL on FTF tripleheader, starting with the Florida Storm visiting the Denver Nightwings.
