The Simulation Football League has finalized its dates, times and matchups for the preseason. While commentary crews are still being finalized, Cameron Irvine and Steven Mullenax will kick off the slate Thursday January 9 at 8:05 pm ET in Tulsa, where the Desperados will host the Florida Storm on the SFL’s Twitch channel. Mike Daggs and Matt Willson will call the Arizona Scorpions visiting the Jacksonville Kings on the SFL’s YouTube channel, two franchises that relocated to new cities in the off-season.

The preseason will continue with a pair of doubleheaders on Friday, a doubleheader on Saturday and a doubleheader on Sunday, capped off with Charleston @ Queen City and Baltimore @ Chicago.

All teams are required to report on-field errors they spot in the #onfielderrors section of Discord prior to 11:59 p.m. CT January 12 in order for errors to be corrected for Week 1 of the SFL regular season, which starts Friday January 17. Playbooks for opening weekend are also due by this deadline. Preseason games do not feature SFL presentation nor do they feature team playbooks, but does give the community an opportunity to see themselves on the field for the first time this season and a first glance at builds and impact players.

The league is still working to finalize rookie showcase dates, times and broadcast crews. File corruption has resulted in delays and the league hopes to resolve the issue this upcoming week to still make the event possible.
