WOBURN, MA – Simulation Football League Commissioner Cameron Irvine and Atlanta Swarm Team Owner Mark Chisholm visited the LAX Sports Network studios Friday afternoon to finalize the details and setup of the historical Round 1 of the Winter 2020 Rookie Draft.

The When:

Round 1 of the SFL Rookie Draft will be broadcast live Saturday December 14 at 9 pm ET, 8 pm CT. Round 2 and 3 will be broadcast on the SFL Twitch channel back at SFL HQ Tuesday December 17 and Wednesday December 18, respectively.

The Who:

Mike Daggs (Director of Broadcasting, Mexico City Tight End) and Andrew Rastelli (Director of Player Personnel) will co-host the draft with analysts Chris Curtis (SFL Play-by-Play, current free agent), Chisholm, Hall-of-Famer Ray Bentley (Director of Digital Content, Mexico City running back), Eddie Gauge (Arizona Team Owner) and Andy Hamilton (Director of Social Media, Vancouver Team Owner) will provide analysis throughout the evening. Commissioner Cameron Irvine will announce picks from the podium.

The How:

To make a draft work, it takes a team. Graphics input and creators, audio, producers, directors, camera operators, script writers and more help produce one of the finest achievements in SFL history. Irvine and Chisholm got a chance to meet that staff today who will help the league put on this event.

The Where you can watch:

Follow along in the chat on the FTF Twitch channel at twitch.tv/ftfnext. If you are watching on any other platform, please respect the chatroom’s feed as the primary live feed.

You can also watch on Pluto.tv and the PlutoTV app, Channel 513; on the Xumo app, Channel 711; on the FTFNext app, which can be downloaded in Apple and Android stores, on Amazon Fire TV, Xbox One, Roku, Chromecast and AppleTV; FTFNext.com, on DirectTV, Channel 623 and on all other carriers of the Eleven Sports Network in the United States.

The class:

155 rookies made the final Rookie Big Board, which means the rookie had at least one check-in and had less than eight check-ins missed. Six players collected 16 straight weeks of progression without a miss and stand atop the board. 30 of the 155 players played on a team as a non-contract player last season as they built up value and re-entered the draft to cash in on that value.
