The Simulation Football League presented by APM Music has reached a milestone in its off-season with finalized Pro Bowl plans confirmed.

This season’s Pro Bowl will feature a twist, with two first-time head coaches and MVP running backs coaching the teams. Mexico City running back and Season 9 MVP Ray Bentley will coach one team, while Season 12’s MVP, Dallas’ Zack Sandlin, will coach the other. Team Owners Ramos Lynn and Crash Combs will be on hand to assist the league in preparation for the event, but will have no emphasis on the draft.

The two teams, as selected by the community via popular vote, will be the Miami Marauders and the Houston Oilers, with the Marauders receiving the most votes. The third and fourth place vote-getters – the New York Nightmares and the NY/NJ Americans – will serve as the two teams in this off-season’s Rookie Showcase ahead of the Season 13 Rookie Draft.

“Our Pro Bowl and Rookie Showcase games are two of our league’s most exciting spectacles,” said Commissioner Cameron Irvine. “This Pro Bowl is going to be unique and certainly a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see how it all shakes out and if we can achieve our most exciting Pro Bowl yet.”

The Pro Bowl Draft, where Coach Bentley and Coach Sandlin will select their teams of superstars, will be Sunday May 5 at 7 pm CT, 8 pm ET on Twitch. The Pro Bowl will be Sunday May 12 at 7 pm CT, 8 pm ET on Twitch as well.

As the league has done the previous two seasons, once teams are selected, they will be given a new locker room to participate in leading up to and during the game. For the second-straight time, Miami will host the Pro Bowl, after the Miami Goliaths were the most popular fan submission last off-season.

The Pro Bowl is a one-of-a-kind broadcast that will feature coaches and players mic’d up throughout the game.
