Well, we’ve never been here before. After Sunday night, we still could not determine the last two playoff spots and results tonight will impact who is in and who is out, based on strength of victory. Here are the teams tied: Chicago, Las Vegas, London and Queen City are all 6-6. Mexico City is locked into the No. 6 spot. Sioux Falls is locked in to the No. 7 spot and Tallahassee is locked in to the No. 8 spot.

If you don’t want to read all the explanations, know this:

Queen City has clinched a playoff spot, with their head-to-head loss against Chicago only coming into play in terms of seeding.

Chicago clinches a playoff spot with a Houston win. They are eliminated with a Houston loss.

Mathematical chance to make playoffs: 4/8

London makes the playoffs if Alaska and Oklahoma City wins or if Alaska, Dallas and St. Louis wins.

Mathematical chance to make playoffs: 3/8

Las Vegas‘ only path to the playoffs is if Alaska, Dallas and Atlanta wins. Any other scenario, the Fury will be eliminated.

Mathematical chance to make playoffs: 1/8

If you’re in the top 6 and don’t want to read all the details, know this:

Denver: No. 1 with Alaska loss, No. 2 with Alaska win

Alaska: No. 1 with win, No. 2 with loss + Dallas win, No. 3 with loss + Dallas loss

Dallas: No. 2 with win + Alaska loss, No. 3 with win + Alaska win, No. 5 with loss

Baltimore: No. 2 with Alaska loss + Dallas loss, No. 3 with Dallas or Alaska loss, No. 4 with Dallas and Alaska win

New Orleans: No. 4 with Dallas loss, No. 5 with Dallas win

Here are the head-to-head and common games tiebreakers that teams own prior to strength of victory in the event they come into play. If three teams are tied, only London’s head-to-head sweep of Chicago and Las Vegas could apply. No three teams shared four common opponents:

Chicago and Las Vegas each played Alaska, London, New Orleans and Vancouver and each finished 1-3, so tiebreaker would go to strength of victory.

Chicago and London have enough common games, but tiebreaker can revert to head-to-head (London wins).

Chicago and Queen City do not have enough common games, but tiebreaker can revert to head-to-head (Chicago wins).

Las Vegas and London do not have enough common games, but tiebreaker can revert to head-to-head (London wins).

Las Vegas and Queen City each played Atlanta, Carolina, Baltimore, New Orleans, Sioux Falls, Tallahassee and Vancouver. Las Vegas finished 4-4 while Queen City finished 5-4.

London and Queen City do not have enough common games and did not play, so tiebreaker would go to strength of victory.
