This week looks to be a very exciting one for the SFL with a rematch of Baltimore-Alaska, a rivalry matchup between Houston and Oklahoma City, 6 road teams favored to win, and 4 games with 1 point lines, which are essentially pick ’em games (just pick the winner, because the game will be close!).
Friday, 7 pm CT
Dallas at Tallahassee (-7) – Tallahassee favored by 7
Tallahassee seems to have discovered themselves against top notch competition while Dallas has been hot and cold against lesser opponents. Look for Tallahassee to roll at home.
Saturday, 7 pm CT
Houston at Oklahoma City (+1) – Houston favored by 1
OKC continues to outperform pundits’ expectations of them, while Houston has struggled early. If the Hyenas offense can get going, they can pull out a win against the Renegades on the road in a hard-fought game.
Sunday, 1 pm CT
Chicago at London (+4) – Chicago favored by 4
Chicago is 4-1 against top notch competition whereas London has been up and down. Look for London to play well out of the bye, but ultimately fall short at home.
Atlanta at Tulsa (-3) – Tulsa favored by 3
Atlanta’s offense has been as good as their defense has been bad while Tulsa has yet to be tested by a prolific offense. Look for this game to be close, with the Desperados pulling out the win late.
Sioux Falls at Carolina (+8) – Sioux Falls favored by 8
Sioux Falls has taken their lumps against quality opponents while Carolina has gotten obliterated by them. Look for the Sparrows to take care of business on the road.
Indianapolis at San Francisco (+1) – Indianapolis favored by 1
San Francisco is a tough opponent on their home field, but Indianapolis has been on fire recently. Look for the Spitfire to eke one out on the road against the Sharks.
Monday, 7 pm CT
Las Vegas at New Orleans (-1) – New Orleans favored by 1
After defeating some quality opponents early in the season, Las Vegas has been blown out in back-to-back weeks. This one won’t be a blowout, but look for New Orleans to take care of business at home.
Alaska at Baltimore (+1) – Alaska favored by 1
A surging Alaska team enters Baltimore hoping to avenge their Week 1 loss. Baltimore has looked hot and cold, and are at risk of dropping another game in a close contest.
Mexico City at St. Louis (+20) – Mexico City favored by 20
Last week Mexico City played one of the worst teams in the league and annihilated them. This week they play another of the worst teams in the league. Why would we expect anything less than a repeat performance out of the Aztecs?
