DENTON, TX – The Simulation Football League presented by APM Music is now an affiliate on Twitch! Becoming an Affiliate allows the league to generate revenue off it’s Twitch channel for the first time since returning to the e-sports streaming leader in the off-season.

“In such a short time, we’ve met the requirements and we’re happy to offer new ways to let our subscribers and SFL members contribute to the league’s growth and profitability,” said Commissioner Cameron Irvine. “It’s just another milestone for the SFL on it’s path to establish a sim football league that can be sustained for generations to come.”

Ways to support the SFL:

SUBSCRIBE – The SFL’s subscription button allows you to earn a subscriber badge, customizeable messages and ad-free viewing (outside of in-game SFL sponsors). You can gift a $4.99, $9.99 or $24.99 per month subscription.

BITS – The newest feature to affiliates are cheer bits – bits are fun, animated emotes. Cheering Bits celebrates moments you love with the community right in chat and similar to subscribing, helps support Partners and Affiliates.

How to Cheer:
Type “cheer” + the number of Bits you want to Cheer in the Twitch chat (example cheer32). From $1 to $300, you can support the SFL as much as you want, when you want to.

“This is not by any means required,” Irvine said. “It’s just another cool way to say ‘I love the SFL and I want everyone to know it.”

The SFL’s goal is to reach Twitch partnership by the end of the year. Being a Twitch partner will even further the SFL’s reach and exposure to the streaming giants’ 15 million viewers a day.
