Led by another strong outing from quarterback Cody Cantrell, the Houston Hyenas kept their undefeated season alive, topping the Vancouver Legion 31-20 to keep the SFL’s first team from Canada winless.

Cantrell went 20-for-27 for 315 yards and two touchdowns (two interceptions). Jamari Mito caught six passes for 127 yards and two scores. D.R. Sim added 132 yards on six grabs. William Choice balanced out the offense with 132 yards and two scores on the ground. Darian Boles’ 11 tackles took charge of the Hyena defense. Vancouver still fell shy of 300 yards of offense, but Frank Champion turned in a really nice day for the Legion defense – 16 tackles (4 for loss) and a sack. Brett Killian turned in over 100 yards and a touchdown through the air.

Houston will clash with Sioux Falls at the Hyena Den in Week 5, while the Legion face a critical test against other Western Conference expansion team – San Antonio.
