Struggling to produce in the first half, Queen City quarterback A.J. Caswell rallied the troops in the second half and Queen City evened the all-time, ten-game series with rival Baltimore – a 17-13 edging.

Four interceptions hurt Queen City in the first two quarters, but a pivotal third-quarter drive, led and capped by rookie receiver Chris Bush (who had almost exclusively all of his 48 receiving yards on the drive) helped ignite the Corsairs on the both ends. With the game on the line – the Crabs with the ball and a chance to win – Queen City safety Stenzo Woods Jr. came on a blitz and gunned down an unprotected Matt South to end the contest. The Corsairs avoided a 1-2 start, where fellow Season 8 Championship participant Dallas started through three weeks. Baltimore has lost two early-season games by a combined seven points.

The Corsairs will be in Atlanta in Week 4 to see if the unbeaten Swarm are for real (Tuesday night). Baltimore hopes to turn things around with 2-1 Chicago coming to town.
