Oklahoma City jumped out to a 21-0 lead early in the first quarter led by gold offensive players RB Pete Bruschi and TE Tybeerious Bovine en route to a 28-17 victory. Bruschi and Bovine combined for 302 of the Renegades’ 376 total yards of offense.
San Antonio, one of three new franchises in the SFL, struggled to get the passing game going, but rookie RB Jason German racked up 115 yards and a score in defeat, a rare 100-yard rushing attack against the usually stout OKC run defense.
The Renegades have never started a season 2-0 and will host the 0-1 Vancouver Legion next week. San Antonio opens its home slate against the 1-0 Mexico City Aztecs.[event_details id=”3937″ align=”none”] [event_results id=”3937″ align=”none”] [event_performance id=”3937″ align=”none”]
